3 ways to grow money in 2018

All of us would love to have some source of side-income. Some activity that does not take much of our time, but also rewards us with some money in the account. Well, in the age of connectivity, the Internet has come to your rescue. With the wild penetration of Internet in India, you now have access to the same great opportunities, that were once reserved for the western elites. Here are some ways to exploit the internet and get away with a few coins more in your pocket.

Become a Social Media Influencer

Yep, there is a lot of money in social media. Don’t trust me? FYI: Virendra Sehwag managed to earn ₹ 30 lakhs via Twitter in 6 months. Now you are not as famous of Viru, but, if you work smart and gain enough followers with a good amount of interactions, then you definitely should be able to make some good money on the side with your Twitter, Instagram, Facebook accounts.

Sound, Camera … Action: Become a Youtuber

Nowadays almost everyone has a decent camera in their pockets. Yes, I am referring to the camera on your mobile phone. If you use some professional camera app, you could even be able to shoot a short film or movie on it. However, we are not directors or great actors, but all of us is good at something. Make a 10-minute video on how to cook something or just a screen capture of how to use a formula in Microsoft Excel and post it on Youtube. Pester your friends, relatives, WhatsApp group members to subscribe to your channel and share your video. There are people who posted some random clip and made thousands, why not try your luck and claim your share in the pool.

Text is dead, long live the blogs.

If you are the shy type and do not want to face the camera, you still have options. Go to wordpress.com and register a blog. Start writing about things you are good at, maybe a tutorial. If you are an opinionated person, then post some on the blog, share it on your social media accounts and again, bug your friends/family/relatives/WhatsApp group members to like and share the post. If you are lucky, you might get requests to produce write-ups for others. If not, you can always use Google AdSense to make money with adverts.
